Meet Avery Pardue | Senior Account Manager and Sales Development Representative

We had the good fortune of connecting with Avery Pardue and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Avery, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
My day typically starts at 5:30 in the morning. I have a habit of starting my day out in the Bible, as well as exercising. Creating this routine for myself, despite having a remote career, has instilled in me the characteristics that lead to success, in my opinion. These include perseverance, drive, grit, determination, and a hard work ethic!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have been a hard worker my entire life. I remember having a job before I could even drive. My mom would have to take me to work! It wasn’t the pay check or the thought of having a job that motivated me. I have always enjoyed truly helping others and putting a smile on someone’s face because I have a passion for people. As I continued my education, I was asked to split / pay for a majority of things on my own. Though this was challenging at the time, I believe that it has successfully prepared me for LIFE! With that being said, I attended the University of Georgia and worked part-time. I am very proud that I can say I graduated in May of 2023 Summa Cum Laude. In December of 2022, I found my dream job, and I currently still work for this company known as On Trend Creative Studio based in Athens, Georgia. I am a Senior Account Manager for various businesses, and I enjoy being able to be creative and bring their dreams to life to ultimately watch their business succeed!
I was also just recently hired at Phreesia as a Sales Development Representative for a “Software as a service company that offers healthcare organizations a set of applications to automate and manage patient intake.” This has truly been an answered prayer. This company is incredible, and I cannot wait to continue to grow my career here!
Finally, I serve as the Director of Marketing and Socials for Madelyn Tenney Events, a southern wedding planning business. I have been given the honor to take lead on a popular service of “Content Creation” that brides have recently shown great interest in!
I’ve learned many lessons along the way, but the biggest one would be not giving up because the Lord always provides. I would feel very discouraged at times, but He never once left me and put these opportunities right in my face. Hard work always pays off!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Since I lived in Athens for four years, I would be overjoyed to host my best friend in the classic city!
We would start the day with a nice walk in the beautiful Botanical Gardens! Never hurts to take a stroll through campus either!
We would get breakfast at Big City Bread or Mama’s Boy, of course! Lunch at Marti’s at Midday because where else!? Dinner at Chucks is a must and the chuck’s salad WILL be ordered. And my very favorite dessert is the famous “White Chocolate Cheesecake” coming from the Last Resort! Espresso Martinis at Walkers to celebrate that dawgs win, and we could end the night without ringing the chapel bell! Athens is the BEST!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mom, Shawn Daniel, and dad, Derek Pardue, deserve all of the credit. They truly have shaped me into who I am today and given me more advice and encouragement than I could ever ask for. I couldn’t imagine two better people to go through life with. They really are two of my best friends. Though they are separated, they have poured into me throughout my entire life and have truly made me a priority every single day.
