We had the good fortune of connecting with Author Jennifer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Author Jennifer, what do you attribute your success to?
The important factor behind the success of my brand is always to put God first in everything that I do in my life. I believe that you must follow the plans and purpose God has for your life and He will take care of the rest. I am a woman living and walking in my purpose.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
After graduating with my Bachelor’s degree in 2005, I went out to work in Human Services for eight years. However, I was led to my purpose in 2016 when I became a published Author in an anthology book called “Pain 2 Purpose: My Valley Experience. This was the beginning of me truly walking in my purpose and I became a Bestselling Author by writing my story in this particular anthology book.
I have only moved forward since that time because I have written in several anthology books, I have self-published three books, in which two of them are children’s books.
I also self-published two inspirational journals specifically for women. Later on this year, I will release my first anthology book as a Visionary Author with my co-authors. I am really excited about my upcoming anthology book, “Women Motivated By Purpose.” It will have stories of women who move forward from their challenges into their God-given purpose.
I am Founder of Growth Women’s Prayer Ministry where I encourage, inspire, and uplift women and all my followers on social media through posting prayers, scriptures, and inspirational quotes on a daily basis.
I got to where I am today professionally by walking in God’s purpose for my life. It was not easy, but with God all things are possible. I have overcome all my challenges through not giving up in life and by making a decision to put my trust in God not people.
The lessons I have learned are to work on motivating yourself when no one supports you and eventually things will begin to work out because of your great efforts and perseverance.
I want the world to know that my brand is to inspire and impact others in a positive way, to encourage them to build a closer relationship with God, and to move forward to birth their purpose.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my mother Mattie Tillman who passed away in 2017. She always showed me her love and support. She taught me the importance of putting God first and keeping a strong prayer life.
I would like to say thank you and give a shoutout to my husband Omar and daughter Aniya for their love and support. I would like to thank all my followers/supporters on social media. I truly appreciate their support.
