We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk taking should be changed to DREAM TAKING. In life, we are given limitations on LIFE from birth, fearing something we can’t see, but know it there. This keeps a person stuck in a box, of never pursing their dreams, their vision, and their purpose knowing that there is something burning deep inside of them.. Taking risks is apart of your own significant journey. Some people are blessed with a tribe, a mentor, or a team to guide their every move. If you are like me, (without any guidance), you move spiritually by divine guidance. You move with the unknown, the rhythm in your soul that moves you to your next step. Many call it a risk, but it’s a part of you that naturally move, to take what is destined to be yours. In this dual reality, we can’t think of failure as losing it all, instead one should look at this as a part of growth, strength, courage, and understanding that everything you are doing is getting you closer to that Dream that is worth the RISK. I say this is what life is about. Its your path, your journey, and your destiny.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a creator, I love color, vibrations, consistency, demensions, textures that are fun, bold, and different. As a hairstylist my art is mostly loving on my clients, understanding them personally, and creating a style that reflects how beautiful they are inside. The conversations in my salon gets DEEP, and by the end of their service the hairstyle compliments what we created in the time spent together. Its like some type of POWER to give the men, women, and children exactly what they need to increase their power. Its MAGICAL to me. As a fashion designer, I love to create what I envision. I love vintage looks, popping colors, shiny sequins, and anything that makes everything stop in a room full of people.

I’m excited about expanding, and becoming an authentic brand, coming from a real person, with big visions. Im looking forward to my FASHION LINE, coming soon. There are many challenges in life, and I face them by crying if I need to, going out in nature, and getting back centered and focused. My biggest lesson I learned along the way is to design your own life; no one cares about you, like you will for yourself, so go harder; & all of the answers you need are inside of you. My brand and who I am, is ALL LOVE.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I was born here in Atlanta, Georgia., where it once was country. I’m a simple women and to be honest, I don’t get out as much. I’ve heard & seen on social media a lot of dope spots I would love to experience, but I believe there will be a time for that. lol I do enjoy working, eating, running, shopping, traveling, and doing a lot of thing alone,

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mother deserves all the credit. She has ascended. (NO LONGER WITH US) She would say, “God works in mysterious ways.” I find this to be a true statement. I believe nothing just happens. Everything happens for a reason, different seasons. People come in and out of your life for specific for a specific reason. Some books I’ve read on my journey are, The Science of Mind, by Ernest Holmes; Trust, Living Spontaneously and Embracing Life, by OSHO; Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff, by Richard Carlson; Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill; and many others. Everyone that I have encountered in my journey gets a shoutout. My beautiful clients/friends/supporters are everything to me. Not only do they support my business, but they believe in me, and pour into me the same LOVE I share with them, which is AMAZING, and all that I can ask for.
