We had the good fortune of connecting with Arthur Coefield and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Arthur, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
Know who is for you and who is not for you. What I mean by that you’ll have those people who will come around just because of who you are and what you do. They take the energy from you.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Nothing about fashion comes easy stating this was the hardest for me. I had to think about what would make this brand be different but also be me I look up to Fear of God and Off White which these two are black owned and I vision all the time what can I do to have my brand stand out like them? It’s simple originality. Major lesson for me through it all is maintaining inventory knowing what I have and don’t have. I want the world to know I’m here like Kanye and Jerry Lorenzo I’m here to make some noise too.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m in Nashville so depending on the season we can hit a Titans game or Nashville predators game. The food scene here is amazing but my favorite spot is Burger Up I love that place. Looking for the night life we can hit Kung fu saloon or Willie B’s.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes!! My mentors Paul and Armi they supported this brand from the Jump. And also my aunt
