We had the good fortune of connecting with Anthony Joiner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anthony, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
When I think about success – it’s sort of outside of the business world.

Every time I drop my daughter off for school in the mornings and pick her up after school in the afternoon, I’m showing her an example of what life looks like when you go for your dreams.

An alternative path.

We have conversations about what that means, both good and bad because I’m living it.

Now, she’s beginning to see the world through the lens of ideas she has that can be potential businesses and I think that is a great way to see the world.

This is what I’m most proud of.

Blooksy makes writers’ lives easier. Whether it’s for an author who wants to publish a memoir, a research student or professor working on their dissertation, or a grant writer – sharing the story of how their non-profit will change the world… Blooksy is for you.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Chattahoochee Food Works is my happy place! The food is amazing, and the people-watching is even better.

When I need a dose of nature, I head to Sweetwater Reserve. A peaceful walk to the rapids on a weekend morning is my idea of relaxation.

To keep fit, I hit the Silver Comet Trail for a run or bike ride.

And finally, to accessorize my adventures, I love checking out the cool hats at Goorin Bros. in Ponce City Market. Life’s better in a good hat, right?

I want to dedicate this to the two incredible women who shaped me: Mom and Grandma. Your unwavering belief in me has been my guiding light. You’ve made countless sacrifices to support my dreams, and I’m eternally grateful. You taught me that I could overcome any obstacle, and that’s what brought me to this moment. Thank you for always being there.
