Meet Anita Culler | Self-Employed Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Anita Culler and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Anita, do you have a budget? how do you think about personal finances?
I live on disability and I’m grateful for the taxpayers which allow me to eat, live, and not actively work in the traditional respect.
I allow myself to spend small amounts, like $75 on clothes, $40 at the theatre, and $25 on dinner twice a month, and that’s it.
When my money is extra low, below $100 at the end of the month, I try to hold on to my money for safety reasons. Living on a budget of disability means I have to save in case of emergencies.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Since I was 4-years-old, I’ve been making art. My online name is PropogandaArt. It’s expressionism and each piece has a meaning in the world.
I also write under the pen name Nitakitty Lovecraft. I write erotic fiction and wrote a nonfiction manuscript ” Hope for A Nation- The No Limit Soldier,” about culture in America after and before 9-11-01.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite day would be a trip to the Chattahoochee river at Jones Bridge Park, a lunch at What the Pho’, and a visit to the local fish stores in the area like Atl Aquarium.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shout-out to my mom who provides me a home, and takes care of the upkeep.
