We had the good fortune of connecting with Abner Jackson III and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Abner, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Sanford, Florida. My parents upbringing and going to church helped a lot. I come from a place where most people know each other. I think it prepared me for the big city life in Atlanta, even though I come from a small city. I always felt I belonged in a big city and I think I’m doing a good job here. God knew what he could bless me with, little by little.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My website is the AJ3Report.com and I started it three years ago. I cover a plethora of things on my website like entertainment, sports, sneakers, traveling, food, models, business owners, etc. Time and dedication help me get where I am today and definitely wasn’t easy. I’m most proud of attending the Black Music Honors Awards and covering the Atlanta Dream games. My brand covers a lot of events and shares press releases about awards, new music, hotel openings, etc. to keep my audience informed of a variety of things.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Georgia Aquarium, Civil Rights Museum, Coca Cola Factory, Pappadeaux or Atlanta Fish Market, Hawks or Falcons game. Nights sports would be Monticello, The Gold Room, BQE Lounge or The Compound. MLK house, grave site and his church would be a place to take them, Busy Bee’s Cafe, Mary Mac’s, Ray’s on the River are also my favorite restaurants. Depending on the person and age, it so many great restaurants here, plenty of attractions and night spots to go to. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Thanks to everyone who has supported AJ3Report, it really means a lot. I try to provide you all with a lot content and thanks for following my journey.
