Meet Jermaine Moore: Content Creator and Natural Product Enthusiast

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jermaine Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jermaine, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
The main habit that has helped the most is consistency. I have a set day and time for my releases and have stuck to it. There may have been a time or two I missing my scheduled time or day but it’s rare.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have always been a creative, a robust and entertaining personality. My first love and talent is dance, thank you Thriller and MJ! Performing has always been there from school plays to talent shows to hosting a yearly event in my home with my other creative friends called The Showcase & Hors d’oeuvres.
What sets me apart is my span of relatable life references, splashed with my form of comedy and silliness. I’ve haven’t seen anyone do what I do how I do it. This has allowed me to fully tap into my creative juices.
My ongoing challenges is time management. Though I get my content out regularly and weekly on the same day and time, everything before that point is all of the place. Recording, editing but still maintaining my home. I still struggle with it but I’m getting better.
What I would want the world to know about me and my brand is that I am a sincere person and that I stand by the things I like or generally believe in 100% and go hard for those things.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Me and the bestie are definitely going to breakfast! I am a pancake lover but love interesting combos so we’d hit up The Dime store one day and The Pantry another. Starbucks for a pep in out step after a big breakfast then we’d hangout at he Riverwalk and walk along the Detroit river to catch up. For dinner we would do Mexican Village restaurant one day, The Block Detroit another and Vincente’s another then probably cook the other days. As for dessert because there is always room for dessert, sweets from Goodcakes and Bakes one day and For the Love of Sugar another day.
We could have drinks at Grey Ghost, hang at Checker bar one day and I have been known to mix a nice cocktail so definitely drinks at home.
I am a shopper so definitely hitting the mall.
I love to be outside so hanging out and people watching in campus martius is always fun.
We could drive to Belle Isle and have a picnic one day.
One of my personal favorite things is to hit Blake’s Apple Orchard & Cidermill. It’s an entire facility. You can spend the day there. Pick whatever is in season, go to the winery and have lunch or dinner then hang out on the patio having hard cider or wine.
I have a couple of friends that have a boat and a lounge so speeding along the river during he day then hanging at their lounge.
I try not to over pack people but I can have things planned every minute of everyday.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The first is my husband Matirio who suggested that I start to document my journey that started with switching from antiperspirant deodorant to natural deodorants.
The second person that “waved the checkered flag” in my head was artist Leikeli47. She was in here in Detroit giving a performance and at the end f the show she was telling the audience if you have a dream, a goal do it! She made it into a melody, added a beat asked for audience participation to say do it!
So I did it and began setting out plans in creating content on YouTube.
