We had the good fortune of connecting with Aimfordahead and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aimfordahead, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
I think my work ethic & persistence are the habits I feel that helped me succeed. You have to want it just as bad as you want to breathe. In any business you have to stay persistent thru the hard times when things are slow don’t give up keep going those are the times you have to lock in and focus 10 times harder! Compared to when things are good because majority of people quit when they hit a bump along the road. Most businesses don’t last a year because the owners didn’t have that drive to push thru those hard times. Hard work pays off!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from other Artists I feel is my versatility. Being from St.Thomas, US Virgin Islands & Living in different states I have a lot of different styles & flows.

I’m most proud of my single “Beating The Block” being on the radio and still growing so I’m excited about the video shoot coming for it!

I got to where I’m at today professionally by lots of time & work into my craft over the past 10 years. You have to put in the ground work to see the growth you can’t cheat any steps. Grow their the process and you will appreciate that you did in the end.

Was it easy? Not at all I got told “No” so many times before I got 1 “ Yes”. But I never let a “No” stop me from accomplishing my goals. I stayed at it everyday got frustrated a lot of days but I kept on pushing. And I’m still at it to this day.

I want the world to know that Aimfordahead / EFMG we’re built from the ground up no investors, funded by us out our own pockets and we’re serious and ready to work with all artists who are serious about a career in the music business!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Attractions I would take them to are zoo, aquarium, botanical gardens,Coca-Cola factory, Trap Museum just to name a few. For food spots we have to get a Slutty Vegan burger, pappadeauxs, juicy crab, Pascals & Louisiana Bistreaux After that we hit Cumberland Mall & Lenox Mall to do a lil shopping and we will party at Elleven45 Gold Room Allure Magic City Escobar Views. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a shout-out to my parents they are the reason I go so hard I learned everything from them and I’m forever in debt to them for supporting me thru my ups & downs!

As well as my late best friend/cousin Elon “Dezert- E” Frett for always believing me and being there by my side thru thick & thin.

Last but not least my EFMG (Enfamous Familia Music Group)family/my brothers love y’all for life for going on this journey with me together!
