We had the good fortune of connecting with Patrice Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patrice, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
An important factor behind my success is the ability to keep my mental health sane. I want to successfully run and operate and grow my business and be genuinely happy doing it. Without the pressure of comparing myself to another business owner in the same industry. I want my business to be successful, but I try not to overwhelm myself in the process.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Between my lash business, I set my business apart from other artist because it’s never about the money for me. I like to look at my service i provide as a therapy session. I build relationships with each client I meet. I make myself a person they want to remember. It becomes to the point they don’t even realize how much of a luxury (expensive) lashes are

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My best friend is in town, we will start our day off at brunch at @flavorrich, then we will head to Atlantic station do a little shopping, then for dinner end our night with wine and tapas at Barcelona in Inman park

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shout out my friend Kainen, he’s also an entrepreneur in Atlanta, he’s a recording artist as well. He looks out for the people he loves, support is mutual with our friendship. The reassurance he gives is amazing and needed.
