Meet Bed | Producer/Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bed and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bed, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Expressing myself is important to me. I didn’t really feel like I would have been able to do anything else long term if I couldn’t express myself in it. Also a great outlet for me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Honestly I’m still trying to get to where I want to be. I’m not there yet, but that’s ok everything in life takes time and every person has a different path ahead of them. Currently I’m in an artist/music collective and we are about to launch as a company very soon. I’m am thankful for all of them because without them I would not be able to motivate and remind myself what the goal is. I learned that you can’t do everything on your own even if you feel like you can or you think you can. You just can’t and if you have supportive/positive people surrounding you with the same goal in mind you’re pretty much there. With that said I also learned that you can’t trust everybody and you can’t help everybody else as well so don’t try to.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well I love art so anything art related I like gallery hopping so probably to the Miami Circle Market located in Buckhead lovely area with beautiful galleries especially Alan Avery Art Company and Pryor Fine Art. And of course the High Museum of Art that’s a no brainer. Also Tew Galleries and Spalding Nix Fine Art in Peachtree Hills is one of my favorites I love their works.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
