We had the good fortune of connecting with Crystal and Denise Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Crystal and Denise, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
We both have a creative side that allows us to always have a thought or an image in our minds that we can get together and make come to life, www.HookahMyStyle.com gives us that freedom or Outlet to create while both having an every day “Big Girl” job. Denise is a Speech Pathologist by day and Crystal is a IT systems analyst so being able to create one of a kind pieces for our customers is a great balance. Hardly feels like work!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We were on of the first to start creating alcohol themed hookahs. We started 6 years ago and with each piece we got better and better. We would tweek a thing here and there or come up with new ideas that we thought our clients would love. We also listen and love talking to our clients to see what they want to see from us. Each hookah is made from recycled alcohol bottles and our clients tell us what exactly they have in mind and we make it come to life. The best part is when our clients send us photos of a party or an event where they are using our piece. We love seeing our clients enjoy what we have created for them!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We are foodies, so our tour around Atlanta would be full of food, food, and more food!! Start out with a Waffle House visit then head to Pince Ciry Market to walk around the beltline, head up to the rooftop to play some games and have a early dinner at gypsy kitchen. We have to squeeze in the high, Atlanta Zoo, and Stone Mountain in between Birroa El Gordo, Marcel’s, Blue Moon Pizza, JR Crickets, Two Urban Licks, Bone Garden, and Fat Matt’s
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Each other! We both push each other to be better in every aspect. We make a great team and pick up the slack (if any) when the other may need help. We love seeing each other win, it only makes us stronger together!
