We had the good fortune of connecting with Deborah Ware and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Deborah, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
The most important lesson my business and career has taught me is to believe in myself, my dreams surrounding my business and career. I have learned to not let fear or failure prevent me from putting in the time and effort towards building a successful business in music, as an Author and teacher. My drive for my business/career continues to be powerful and strong because I believe in what I do.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As an African American woman with great confidence  and inspiration professionally  I stay busy by writing as an Author of my first book “Breaking Chains “www.iamtherealdeborahware.com or www.amazon.com and working on book two.  I also continue to write songs and record them in the studio as an Artist while continuing to dream and inspire others to see how their dreams can become their reality to be creative.  In continuing to  remain busy I am a host of my own platform for other creators and Entrepreneurs live every Friday on Instagram. Finally, I also use my speaking  and writing to share on my Podcast “Beautiful Women With a Purpose ” on Anchor.fm and Spotify. One thing that sets me apart from others is the power of my belief in myself and my creations. I support my business/career without backing from the outside and I am consistent. I am most proud of how Independent and confident I have become through my growth process of my creations. Any challenges that I have faced I overcame it by reminding myself that my career is mine and my success depends on me and the muscle that I apply to it. I got to where I am in my profession through hardwork, prayers and belief. Nothing is ever easy when it begins to seem hard, again I reflect and then connect what I have already done to the pickup of continuing on. The lesson I learned is to listen to my heart, believe and then I know that achievement for the empire that I want is only a few steps away. Never underestimate the underdog!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First, I would introduce them to my favorite restaurants…. Pappadieux Seafood Kitchen, Pappisittos, Marc’s Restaurant at Chateau Elan’s Winery. My favorite tourist spot would be to spend the week at the castle Chateau Elan in Braselton, GA. We would eat good food, enjoy the wine tasting and then relax in the spa.
