Meet Brittany Floyd | CEO/ Founder of B’Led Women Boutique

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Floyd and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my business is to keep God at the forefront. It’s important to me for God to remain the anchor of my business. To be anchored is to remain grounded and secure in faith. It was faith that encouraged me to operate in my gifts. Therefore, I cannot entirely take credit for the success of my business without acknowledging where the idea originated from. The blueprint of B’Led Women boutique is God’s plan, and I am just here to operate accordingly.

What should our readers know about your business?
B’Led Women Boutique was created in 2019. My business essentially started out as just a happy place in my life. It was something I simply enjoyed. I love empowering and I love fashion. It transitioned into more, God gave me a vision and I went for it. I found my purpose within my business. However, I quickly realized my purpose was not so much about myself. I vividly remember the day it came to me that everything I created for my business going forward must be intentional. Beginning with my name, B’Led Women Boutique “Be Led Women”, was ideally chosen to remind women to be led by purpose. We’re more than just a boutique it’s a brand that ministers to women. Specifically created to encourage women to step into the best versions of themselves and look the part too! We select chic pieces that will contribute greatly to a woman’s character, femininity, and confidence. Overall, our brand is an advocate for confidence, while bringing forth purpose driven attire. Of course, throughout my entrepreneurial journey I’ve been faced with several adversities. Between juggling being a mom, student, and business owner, it was a challenge. To be honest, there was even a season of inconsistency, where I sometimes felt defeated. Once I grasped the importance of implementing balance and structure into my daily lifestyle, things became a lot more manageable. My faith did not allow me to stay in that season long. I have learned to be resilient and poise. So, giving up is not an option. I genuinely believe when you’re operating in your gifts there will always be room for you. When difficult seasons would arise, I’d revisit my mission for starting my business in the first place. The mission of B’Led Women boutique is never complete. It will always continue. Hypothetically speaking, if I only inspire one woman to gracefully embrace her femininity, confidence and strive for her purpose; well, I have done exactly what God created me to do.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a very chill person, I enjoy initimate settings more than anything. We’d visit Another Broken Egg or The Cook Book for brunch. Then later that evening try some excrusions, bike riding at Jacksonville beach and we’d end the day with a sunset cruise at the St. Johns river.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My daughter rightfully deserves recognition for assisting in the woman I’ve become. It’s truly an impeccable love that drives me to go above and beyond to provide a life of great value. She often tells me “I’m her hero”, truth is she is mine. I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without her by my side. It’s a different feeling to know someone will forever be rooting for you. I’d also like to give recognition to my family, friends, supporters and even complete strangers that have contributed to my success. You all are appreciated!
