Meet Khristian “KJ” Parker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Khristian “KJ” Parker and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Khristian “KJ”, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
As a 23 year old female musician and creative, success to me, is not defined solely by accomplishments, money, or recognition. It’s about remaining faithful to your purpose, growing through every season, and making a positive impact on others. I’ve learned that delayed does not mean denied and that challenges are often preparing you for something greater.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a professional drummer, creative entrepreneur, and founder of Kcrazy Productions. My passion has always been bigger than just playing drums—I love creating experiences, helping others, and using music as a way to connect and inspire people. What sets me apart is my versatility. I’m not only a drummer, but I also work in production, sound, content creation, and leadership. I believe in making sure excellence is present in every room I’m in.
My journey professionally has not been easy. I’ve had to make sacrifices and remain faithful in every opportunity. It has taught me and continues to still teach me resilience, patience, and trust in God’s timing.
I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built and the people I’ve been able to impact along the way. From serving in churches and communities to touring and working alongside incredible artists and creatives, every experience has shaped me into who I am today.
Through my brand, Kcrazy Productions, I want the world to know that your purpose is bigger than your current circumstances. My story is one of faith, perseverance, and service, and I hope it encourages others to keep going.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to Atlanta for a week, we’d definitely have a packed itinerary because I’m a huge sports fan. We’d catch any Atlanta sporting event we could—whether it’s the Hawks, Braves, Falcons, Atlanta United, NASCAR events, or any other major game in town. I love the energy that sports bring and how they bring people together.
We’d also spend some time at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games and Dave & Buster’s because I love bowling, racing, and a little friendly competition. For food, we’d have to stop by Taco Al Pastor, JR Crickets, Fox Bros. Bbq, and Buffalo Bar for some great wings and local favorites. And no Atlanta trip is complete without grabbing a slush from RaceTrac—I’m a big fan of those.
For a more relaxed vibe, we’d visit City Winery to enjoy the atmosphere and live entertainment, explore Stone Mountain Park for the scenery and outdoor activities, spend time at Atlantic Station, and do some shopping at the Mall of Georgia.
What I love most about Atlanta is that it has something for everyone. Whether you’re into sports, food, entertainment, outdoor adventures, or just hanging out with friends and family, the city always gives you something exciting to experience.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, all glory and honor go to God. None of this would be possible without His grace, guidance, and favor throughout every season of my life.
I want to give a special shoutout to my parents, Kamangie Parker and Joseph Parker Jr., for their unconditional love, sacrifices, and unwavering support. To my siblings, JoHanna and Josiah Parker, and my grandparents, Emma Parker, Joseph Parker Sr., and Bobby Williams—thank you for being my foundation and reminding me where I come from.
I’m also incredibly grateful for Albernique Ware, Elijah Dean, Matthew and Netra Montgomery,
Sabrina Banks, Seiko Tanaka of Japan, and Michael Smalls.
Also, thank you to the Parker, Hayslett, Ware, Sparks, and Dean families for your love, encouragement, and support throughout my journey.
A huge shoutout to my family and friends in 731 Jackson, TN, 901 Memphis, TN, Helena, AR, Atlanta GA, and across other states and countries. Whether Near or far, your love, encouragement, and belief in me have meant more than words can express.
I also want to honor my late mentor, Marles Flowers. Though he is no longer with us, his wisdom, belief in me, and impact on my life continue to inspire me every day. I’m grateful for Sheila E., Barbara Jackson Sago, Chris Pat, Venzella Joy, Stacey Lamont Sydnor, Ricko Clark, Tracie Heard, Andrew Knox, Tim Mason, and Jamie Grace for their guidance, opportunities, and encouragement along the way.
And of course, shoutout to the entire Kcrazy Crew. Thank you for believing in the vision and growing with me.
Lastly, thank you to VoyageATL for this opportunity. I’m truly grateful and humbled to be recognized.
