We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Goodman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Sharing the Table honestly started as a way to do what I already loved, just with intention behind it. I’ve always been drawn to food and hospitality, not just the aesthetics of it, but what it represents. Gathering, connection, community. I wanted to build something that captured that feeling and translated it into content people could actually feel.
The name says it all for me. A table is where things happen. Conversations, celebrations, first dates, business deals, family moments. I wanted my brand to live in that space and invite people in rather than just show off pretty pictures.
The business side came naturally once I realized the content I was creating had real value for brands who wanted to connect with audiences in an authentic way. I stopped thinking of myself as just a creator and started thinking about what it meant to build something, a real brand with a point of view and a community around it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My career has been anything but linear, and honestly I think that’s what makes it interesting. I studied Interior Design at East Carolina University, which gave me a really strong foundation in visual storytelling, space, aesthetics, how things feel, not just how they look. That eye carried over into everything I’ve done since.

I spent years working in social media and content, managing brands across hospitality, lifestyle, and beyond. I’ve had the chance to work with and create content for names like the Atlanta Beltline, Omni Hotels and Resorts, and Chateau Elan. Along the way I built real skills around strategy, production, and what it actually takes to grow an engaged audience, not just a big number.

What sets me apart is that I’m not just a content creator and I’m not just a strategist. I’m both. I can walk into a room, understand the story that needs to be told, shoot and produce the content myself, and then build the strategy to get it in front of the right people. That combination is rare.

What am I most proud of? Sharing the Table. Building something from a genuine place of love and community and watching it connect with people in a real way. Food and hospitality aren’t just my niche, they’re how I believe people come together. That’s the mission and I take it seriously.

Has it been easy? No. There have been pivots, layoffs, moments of uncertainty where I had to decide whether to play it safe or bet on myself. I always bet on myself. And every hard moment taught me something, about resilience, about my own value, about what I actually want to build.

What I want the world to know is that Sharing the Table is more than a brand. It’s a community. And I show up for it every single day with everything I’ve got.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Okay so first things first, we’re starting on the Beltline because that’s just the rule. We kick things off at Daily Dose for a matcha or coffee and ease into the day the right way. Then we’re walking off those drinks and working up an appetite before landing at Breaker Breaker for bites, sips, and live music on the patio.

That’s the vibe. That’s the whole vibe.
From there we bounce over to Krog Street Market to wander, graze, and soak it all in, then make our way through Old Fourth Ward and end up near the skate park to just hang, people-watch, and take in the city energy. Then we grab scooters and coast home. Peak Atlanta day.

Day two we’re doing a full reset. We pack a bag and head up to Chateau Elan in Braselton for an overnight. Wine tasting, spa day, the whole thing. It’s one of those places that makes you feel like you left the country without ever leaving Georgia. And then the next morning we close it out with brunch at Versailles before driving back home.

Last day is a chill neighborhood day, good food close to home, slow mornings, nothing on the schedule. The kind of day that makes you not want to leave.
That’s the Atlanta I know and love. Come hungry and come ready to be outside.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Honestly? Anyone who has ever shown up. Not just liked a post or watched a video, but actually showed up in real life. The people who went to that restaurant for dinner, booked that cabin or hotel stay, came out to that event. Those are my real MVPs.

I do this for the people. Full stop. Building a community that supports each other, uplifts each other, and genuinely experiences joy together, that’s what gets me going. That’s always been my forte and the whole heart behind Sharing the Table.

The table only means something when people are sitting at it. So every person who has pulled up a chair in any way, this one’s for you.
