We had the good fortune of connecting with Renata Jordan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Renata, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was to help, encourage and inspire those that have the desire to tell a story. I want my experiences, and knowledge to become a source of guidance and transformation for others.

I would like to share the struggles that l have overcome that others may be dealing with or have dealt with in the past. If l am given the opportunity to help one person by the sharing of my story, it blesses me to continue to serve a greater purpose.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As an author, l pride myself on creating stories and ideas that connect with readers on a meaningful level.

What sets me apart is my commitment to authenticity and a genuine desire to inspire and spark conversation through my writing.

I am most proud of the impact my work has on readers. Knowing that my words can encourage, comfort, or even challenge perspectives that individuals encounter on a daily basis. Each book represents not only a creative achievement but also a personal journey of growth and discovery.

My professional path was not always easy. Like many writers, I faced challenges, sometimes self-doubt, or even rejection. However, l always continue to push foward with discipline and consistency. I remain focus on developing my craft and viewing setbacks as opportunities to improve rather than reasons to quit.

One of the most important lessons I have learned is that success is rarely immediate, it does not happen overnight. Persistence, patience, and a willingness to keep showing up are often more valuable than talent alone. I have also learned that every experience, whether it is positive or difficult, can become a source of inspiration and wisdom.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that I believe in connecting with the people. My mission is to travel the United States and abroad leaving my work behind in all location that l step foot in, leaving a lasting impression. Above all, I hope to be known as an author who writes with purpose, passion, and sincerity.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I reside in the metro Atlanta area, which offers a unique blend of culture, opportunity, history, and entertainment, making it one of the most exciting places to visit.

I am one who likes to stay fit, so we would start off with an early morning visit to Stone Mountain. We would climb the mountain, and after reaching the top, they would be able to get a beautiful view of what the city looks like as a whole.

The next few days we would visit a few attractions, like the Atlanta Contemporary Art Museum, the World of Coca-Cola and a few others. Continuing our stroll with visiting local shops and inhaling the energy of the city.

Let’s not forget the shopping. We must do some shopping during the time of the visit. Along with great eatery and southern nostalgic dining.

To wrap up the trip, we’d relax with spa treaments and spend time with some of Atlanta’s most creative and inspiring people, such as artists, entrepreneurs, authors, and community leaders who help make the city such a dynamic place.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I first must give Honor to God who is the head of my life and for ordering my steps in the direction that is meant for me.

My Family, friends and supporters for showing up and providing their love, time, and kindness. Pouring positive motivation and words of encouragement without expectation of reward.

The Artistfirst Radio Network for allowing me the forum in giving others a platform to tell their story, ln hopes that it will allow others to realize that they are not they only one going through the trails of life.

The Iconic Mr. Tyler Perry for granting me the opportunity to be featured in the phenomenal historic film the “6888”. Working alongside the dynamic Mrs. Kerry Washington and all the wonderful Women on the set of making this movie. Paying homage to All the Women who paved a way for the Women in the Military.
