Meet Jordan Ward | Music Producer / Media Mogul

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Ward and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jordan, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
I feel as if prayer , discipline , and strategic planning and execution were my main habits that helped my success.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My journey to where i am today was a thought one. Being from the very small town of Baconton, Georgia I never saw myself accomplishing this much but i always knew i had gifts and talent and a purpose. I would sit many days in the country just daydreaming of one day seeing the world and finding what God had in store for me.
So i found my purpose / entrepreneurial profession when I was a kid. I would go to
My cousin Derrick’s and Auntie Michelle’s house for the summer in Atlanta and stay and my cousin always had creative ideas and vision from music, photography , videography, carpentry and construction you name it ! So as a kid i would watch him make music. When i finally got my first laptop some years later i found a version of FL Studio that was free to make beats on and as a producer I was self taught from there. Also , my same cousin , inspired me to get behind the camera as a photographer and cinematographer who now owns Righteous Media Group LLC. My cousin Derrick had the first professional camera i had every shot on. He taught me how to shoot and edit using photoshop and Final Cut Pro. This was well before his emergence in the film industry now working with Tyler Perry on films such as STRAW, SIX Triple Eight, and more.
Along the way I’ve learned that God is real and perseverance is key. On the days you want to quit those are the days you must push on. I’ve learned that relationships and doing great business are also important. Never lose your “ Why” because when things get challenging being able to connect back with your “Why” will give you the energy to push forward. I want the world to know that my Brand is a Brand of quality snd excellence that was built on days and countless hours of work and faith. My story is a very unique one and one that I pray one day inspires millions of people !

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely take my friend to find some great food ! We’d eat at a new place each day starting with Jake’s Soul Food Cafe which is my favorite ! shout out to Christina Renteria she’s done an amazing job with the franchise. And every day moving forward we’d find nice bars to go to, do some shopping , definitely some creating , probably find some good comedy shows to attend down at the Stardome.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The book entitled “The purpose of a man” by Dr . Myles Munroe helped me deconstruct and reconstruct myself as a man and find my center and myself. this helped me focus better and outline the curriculum I needed to be successful in both media and music.
