Meet Lyric` B

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lyric` B and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lyric`, why did you pursue a creative career?
Thank you guys for having me back, it’s always a pleasure when we can sit down & chat it up. In regards to your question, this is all I’ve ever known. As far back as I can remember I was able to do things vocally most my age & older could not. It was the same with my writing, dancing & acting abilities. Naturally, what comes most easiest to us we pursue. I knew early on anything I do for money would be a job or gig work until I was able to subsidize my living from my career in entertainment. When you wake up every morning with the same passion, vision or dream, it is in you. And that is what you should go full force with, I have.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The only thing that sets me apart from the next creative is my drive & execution. Having the desire to do big things while being comfortable where you are is dangerous. Comfortability will keep you stagnant & dreaming. If you ask me, the moment I’m able to see a vision clearly in my mind? That’s a clear sign that it’s already happened! With time not even being real, I generally act on the things I see & get the results I want. I dont wait on my booking agent or PR to set me up for big things. I’ve built a good enough repor over the years with power players in the business to go directly to the HBIC. These are the lessons I try to pass on to those who ask me how I did this or how can they too achieve that. Also, fear not, it’s a natural thing for fear to come when it’s time to show up to the world as who you’ve always been. But show up & push through that fear with faith & Godfidence. This is how you go from seeing & aspiring to do great things to having a seat at the table.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Currently Lyricallyric Entertainment & our artists do our creating & artist development out of Marietta, Georgia. I always tell those coming to shadow, hang with or visit me that we’ll spend a great time at Writers Block Studios with Muchodenaro. He’s my brother & the only one I trust with my gift & most precious talents we’re curating over at Lyricallyric ENT. In terms of dining & drinking you know my 2 spots are still The UBar & Old Lady Gang Southern Cuisine located in downtown campcreek area. These are 2 spots I can always rely on for a good taste, vibe and boost from the bartenders creations. If you’re in the Atlantic area, you have to stop in to both restaurants and tell them Lyric` sent you.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
You know, there’s a large audience of people out there that only know me from watching me on TV or finding my music online or seeing me open up for a major act in concert. Each time I get online & see comments, reposts or my analytics of the different countries where my music’s being spun I’m overwhelmed, overjoyed. That being said, I’d like to dedicate my shoutout exclusive to my die hard fans. Noone has to purchase or stream your music. To those that do, I love you, sincerely. I appreciate yal for rocking with me as long as you have & still wanting me here.
