We had the good fortune of connecting with Keren Selah and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi keren, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Honestly… I didn’t choose this path , this path chose me…and i absolutely fell in love with it. Being a creative became my life & it’s so fitting & fufilling.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is rooted in truth , representation, & transformation. I’m a filmmaker, writer, and visual storyteller who uses film, photography, and media to tell stories. What sets me apart is that everything I create comes from a deeply personal place, but it speaks to universal experiences: growth, identity, love, pain, and self-discovery. I’m definitely here for representation. I’m proud of staying true to the vision that God gave me. From photography to launching my own media production company… God did ! And Pink Space Media… I’ve built everything from the ground up. It wasn’t easy—nothing about carving your own lane is. I’ve dealt with self-doubt, limited resources, and being underestimated. But those challenges made me grind harder. I had to learn to trust myself, even when no one else understood the vision. What kept me going is the art of knowing. Knowing I’m close to my big break. Knowing I’m capable. Knowing nothing is out of my reach. When you know for sure something good is on the way , that keeps you going . Stay true to your path. Believe and nurture your dreams. Strive to be an inspiration but live to be a testament to your vision. What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that Pink Space Media is more than a production company….it’s a space for creatives who feel unseen, for stories that deserve the spotlight, and for art that inspires and uplifts. I’m building something that’s real, intentional, and raw. And I’m just getting started. And as for me although i wear many hats ( director, writer , producer, creative director, photographer , etc) i am true to myself, faithful to my vision, and allowing God to lead me at all times.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout a particular book titled “ The Artist’s Way” by Julia Cameron. It’s such a great read & beneficial for all creatives. Definitely an eye opener! Also I would like to shoutout my close peers in business & team for the unwavering support.
