Meet Julian King | Real Estate Agent | Investor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Julian King and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Julian, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I want financial freedom. I wanted the ability to create my own schedule and to determine my own success. It was in me to show my next generation that the sky’s the limit and anything is possible.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I own and operate a full-service real estate business—specializing in buying, leasing, selling, and investing. I equip investors with the tools and insights needed to analyze and pursue profitable deals. The journey hasn’t always been smooth; early in my career, I faced significant growing pains. However, through strategic marketing and a commitment to outstanding customer service, I was able to build momentum and reinvest profits into new opportunities.
I overcame challenges by conducting thorough research and developing strategies tailored to my niche market. I’ve learned the value of staying open-minded while also focusing on the clients you serve best—for me, that’s investors. Not everyone will support your success or share your vision, and that’s okay. What matters most is refining your craft and creating your own opportunities.
At Jay King Realty, our mission is to prioritize the client’s best interest, and we approach every transaction with professionalism, integrity, and excellence.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Favorite spots in atlanta are definitely in the midtown area for me. I would show my best friends a time in MJQ’s on Ponce then take them across the street for a dinner date to Tacos & Tequila. But for the days we want to get a little closer to the urban center we can hit up the bars at Edgewood. And Ghost bar for a night on the town. Definitely would have to take my besties out for a Sunday brunch because whats Sunday Funday without it?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My grandmother is definitely my rockstar. while she’s no longer with us, I still hold close to heart a lot of the lessons she’s taught me. I’ll never forget the days she would come to my house to wake me up for school and cook me breakfast to start the day. Grandma instilled in me the will to go get whatever I want and to do it with fidelity and pride
