Hi Lanina, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Risks have always been an essential element of the life of an entrepreneur. Risk is at the core of any business venture, and without it, nothing will change. As an entrepreneur, my entire life has been a journey of risk, and I would not want it any other way.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the proud owner of several successful businesses. Rogers Tax Service, 14yrs, Southwest Georgia Colonics, 8yrs, Howard Logistics LLC, 5yrs, and South Georgia Screening and Wellness, 1yr

As time goes on I realize how hard it is to make it here. So with hard work, dedication, patience, and money managing skills it has been a blessing. I would have to say that the hardest part is handling my finances. Learning how to manage money flow while creating other businesses that needed capital to start. That made my life a lot more difficult than it had to be. Also, I was afraid that I’d fail, but failure wasn’t an option. It has been a blessing having a father that always has my back. The thing is, he doesn’t micromanage me, he just makes sure that I’m okay. That’s been my biggest benefit to having a father around. I can’t imagine how much worse things would’ve gotten if I didn’t have his support..

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My village is Enormous. I would like to thank them all for the support and constant motivation. My children for keeping me grounded, My Late Husband for always supporting my business ventures even when they didn’t make sense to him. My grandparents for showing me Entrepreneurship was the way. My mother for keeping me focused as a child and making academics priority. Also to everyone who has ever worked WITH me at any of my establishments, thanks for being apart of the vision, Last but not least GOD for giving me the tenacity and endurance to keep going.
