We had the good fortune of connecting with Teri Ehrlich and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Teri, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
I think one of the most important lessons being in real estate for nearly 20 years is that to expect the unexpected and prepare for many different situations and outcomes. Having worked on hundreds of transactions over the years, I can tell you that no two are ever the same. Different people, different personalities and surprising road blocks will always pop up. Staying calm and focusing the clients on their goals is key. Always come from understanding and care about their goals rather than yours, you will succeed. I always say to focus on the clients and not the commissions and you will do just fine.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Having over 20 years experience in many different markets, I have recently built a small team that focuses on client care and top level service. All of the agents on our team work from the heart and it shows as most of our clients end up being friends in the end. I have worked extensively with top level executives, professional athletes and investors as well as relocation buyers that need to ensure that they will have great resale value in 2-5 years. Our focus is always on value and future values.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are so many interesting places in and around Atlanta. I would suggest a combination of some of my favorite spots including the Atlanta Botantical Gardens – especially at night or during holiday lights. There are the most incredible restaurants and shopping spots hidden around Atlanta so we would go to all of my favorites. Hiking in the area is fabulous too – the Greenway is fun for walking or bike riding and walking or riding along the Chattahoochee is fun on a nice day.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My daughter, Nina, has been working for me full time for about 3 years now and has been amazing at helping first time home buyers stop paying rent and start building wealth. Her passion for educating younger buyers has been inspiring.
