We had the good fortune of connecting with Ulrike Stewart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ulrike, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Taking risks always leads to new advantages while also giving yourself the opportunity for personal growth and self-discovery. Ive learned so much about myself over the past few years. My likes ,dislikes mentally and spirituality . I’ve also learned a lot about people. Taking numerous risks in my past were advantages and failures. It caused me to have consternation but I always contrived a plan into what I credence desired and what didn’t work I’ve learned and developed from them. My biggest risk was betting and believing in myself transitioning from being a 27 year Licensed Cosmetologist/Salon Owner to a full time Actress within film/television and recently opening a restaurant (Uncle Butch’s Chicken and Waffles) located in Conyers, GA with husband and partners. I gambled it all and put all my best foot forward and today I’m succeeding despite the risk I’ve taken. It has allowed me to stay focused and potentially achieve a even greater success by embracing those calculated risk..

As an actress/creative, I bring stories to life thru the unique creation of my artistry, connecting with my audience and allowing them to experience each story from there perspective. My dedication to continuous training and experience sets me apart from others allowing my style, grace, and presence to be truly one of a kind. We are all unique in our own way. Finding that uniqueness about yourself and embracing it is an advantage and beautiful . Achieving my goals where I am today took a lot of discipline and training. Aligning my values and mental health allows me to conquer stability which was not easy. I’m am proud of being an example to my children, showing them that with passion, there are no limitations-they can achieve anything when they set their minds to it. I would like the world to know taking on the life experiences and emotions of others can be incredibly challenging, especially when we are also managing our own daily struggles. It’s important to find a balance, to care for others while also protecting our own well being.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite spots in the city is of course MY restaurant Uncle Butch’s Chicken and Waffles for brunch and of course a AMAZING filet steak from Ruth Chris steakhouse. I also love experiencing Sandbox VR and there virtually reality games.
