We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Butler and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, what’s your definition for success?
Success is not a measure of how much money you have, or how much money you can make. Success is a measure of how much freedom you create for yourself, your family, your legacy. How well you can stretch your wealth, beyond yourself, and plan for generations to come.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Believe it or not I am still in the process, I haven’t even made it yet. I work for a major food company in Atlanta Georgia doing Quality Control. So many challenges have faced me and still I have challenges to face. I’ve learned to let Go and let GOD! Without him I am nothing. He gives me the strength everyday to to put one foot forward. My brand will display strength and endurance, lastly resilience. I have fought and will continue to fight for my success.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am a free flow person. I definitely have a few restaurants for eating. Magnolias in Tucker for Soul Food and RC Kitchen. Since I have Gullah Geechee roots we would go to Virgils if I don’t cook it myself. A few activities would include a spa date at JeJu, facials etc. I love yoga and meditation, pottery in Downtown Decatur. Stroll Piedmont Park they always have activities there. Cascades skating rink to have a little fun. I have so many spots we can go. Walking the trail to the waterfall in Roswell. The list goes on.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My parents deserve all recognition. They raised me to 1st believe in myself and love myself. Follow all my dreams, and work smart for everything I want. They motivated me even when I was unmotivated. They picked me up when I was at my lowest, and celebrated me when I was at my peak.
I am truly grateful to have both of them in my life.
