We had the good fortune of connecting with Robtaevious Madden and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Robtaevious, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Consistency. One thing I learned early when I started Ry Media Company was that if I wanted to grow my business, I had to be consistent. Picking and choosing when to shoot, to edit, to network, to film, any of that would not help my business grow and I’d look up years from now and still be in the same spot. Learning that early is what helped Ry Media Company Sports be a success. From August til December, every single Friday I’m at a high school football game capturing photos. On Saturdays, I’m at a college football game capturing photos. I could be at a high school here in Atlanta or I could be driving on the road somewhere. Either way, I’m consistent every Friday and Saturday for 5 months all football season. When basketball season comes around, it’s the exact same thing. I’m at a gym weekly for a game. The consistency is what helps Ry Media Company Sports grow and will continue to grow to the level that I dream of it being grown to.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What I want the world to know about my company? Well, to put it simple, I want athletes to know that Ry Media Company Sports is here for them. I absolutely love what I do. I love being on the field and on the sidelines capturing images of every game. One of the best feelings is the feedback that I receive from the players, from the coaches, from the school about the images taken. Seeing the players use my photos for their social media posts and profile pics is an amazing feeling. That feedback makes the job all worth it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s Atlanta. It’s honestly about what your preference is. Can’t go wrong with anything here. It’s so much to do and it’s definitely a lot to eat. Tons of restaurants.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Everything I do is for my babies. I’m a girl dad. It’s them who motivate me daily to keep going. Every father out there with daughters feel me on that.
