We had the good fortune of connecting with Carile Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carile, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
If you were brave enough to start a business, that is your reason in itself to keep going. The hardest part is starting
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, the thing that sets me apart is im not afraid to do the hard work.
what you are most proud of or excited about. Im proud that I never gave up on the hard days like i wanted to and im extremely excited to see what the future brings
How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy?Omg im only where I am because of God and easy doesn’t exist if its real work
If not, how did you overcome the
challenges? Ive endured silent cries throughout my growth process but always being faithful in God kept me going.
What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Ive learned that you have to be able to respect that youve done your best and allow God to do the rest allow Jesus to fight any fight that’s to big for you to handle.
What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story? I want the world to know that I believe in them.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Honestly I’m not a planner but if I’m in the mood and I allow someone around me for a week 🙃 I guess we’ll just hit the town a couple days out the week but directly after that I have to work… Im climbing. I don’t really party or socialize to much, by choice. I rather take a week with any friend of mine and help them with their business plans vice versa.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would have to say my grandmother’s. They treated always treated me liked they believe in me. The love was always real and I only want to make them proud
