We had the good fortune of connecting with T. Wilk and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi T., where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m from Atlanta Georgia and my upbringing gives me such an advantage in my adult life and career life most importantly. My whole family were entrepreneurs and hustlers who was always hungry to keep upgrading they life, funds, and career no matter what career field they were in.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Im a director and photographer based in Atlanta Georgia and I’m so blessed to be where I am today. And also so excited about my future while still being nervous because success isn’t promised. I got where I am today from staying motivated, staying consistent, and never getting to high or to low when it comes to where I’m currently at in my career. Being able to shoot with artist such at Lil Baby, 21 Savage and even brands like Regions and Nike
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If you came to town to hang out with me I would for sure take you to knife to dine in and JJ’s chicken for a quick meal. To have a drink and enjoy ourself cheetah would probably be where we end up first. I really love to go to the games so whatever season we in weather it’s basketball or football we would attend a game. And last but not least Cam Kirk Studios would be somewhere that’s mandatory to stop by.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
John rose is an entertainment lawyer from New York who is based in Atlanta. He represents artist such as Rick Ross, Coco Jones and more. I met him when I was 16 in high school at Booker t Washington. John changed my whole perspective and him keeping me around to show me what hard work looks like, how to be able to balance your work and personal life and you could be successful in life without playing sports or being a music artist.
