As a mobile business with Advance Nail Care and Foot Care certifications
(A.N.T. and F.N.T). I’m dedicated to bringing aseptic services right to the doors of those who need it most—especially for those who find it challenging to leave home. Many of my clients face mobility issues that can make regular care feel like a daunting task. Providing mobile services help them navigate those challenges and enjoy the routine care they truly deserve—no stress over traffic, accessibility or parking! It’s all about creating comfort and care.

The beauty industry is a fantastic playground for self-expression, creativity, and wellness—think of it as a spa day for your soul! One exciting option is nail reconstruction. Many people, including some men, shy away from nail salons, worrying about judgment or feeling self-conscious about their nail situation. But fear not! Having the ability to do a consultation in your home provides a comfortable and familiar environment which helps alleviate those concerns. Together, we’ll have open conversations and tailor recommendations that fit that clients needs—no judgment, just great nails and chill vibes all around!

What sets me apart? I’m a mobile nail technician, delivering salon-quality pampering right to you! With advanced skills for many nail situations, I make it easy to enjoy a relaxing nail experience. The salon truly comes to you, making self-care more convenient than ever!

I started my business when I was put on furlough due to COVID—definitely not an easy transition! One minute I had a job, and the next, I was deemed “non-essential.” As a newcomer to the industry, finding work was a challenge. So, when the government sent out those relief checks, I decided to turn a setback into an opportunity and invested that money into starting my own mobile business! Talk about a plot twist!

Starting from scratch is not an easy feat, especially without a playbook. With no other mobile nail techs to consult or mimic, I took charge and invested in a solid business book for guidance. After all, a business is a business, right? I knew I had the skills and determination to make mine a reality. I figured if I could get the basics down, I’d carve out my path in the industry.

As a mobile nail technician and business owner, I’ve learned valuable lessons, time management, pricing, understanding my clients, and maintaining work-life balance. Running a business can be all-consuming especially if you are running and working it, so taking time to breathe is essential for both your mental well-being and your success. It’s also important to embrace the courage to put yourself out there and not fear failure—each step is part of the journey!

What do I want the world to know about my brand and my story? Simply this: you’re never too old to chase your dreams! I may have started later in life than some, but that just means I bring a wealth of experience and passion to everything I do. It’s never too late to make your mark!The key is just to take that first step, especially if it’s something you know you can do. Trust me, even in this business, there are days when the couch calls my name more than the nail polish!

As for Nail Anatomy, we’re all about customer care and wellness, but that doesn’t mean we don’t keep up with the latest trends. I’m excited about the future and plan to add more beautification services—because everyone deserves a little extra pampering? I’m also toying with the idea of a hybrid option for those who still want the salon environment. But at present, why shouldn’t you have the option of fabulous nails while in your sweatpants and binge-watching your favorite show? Beauty should be as convenient as it is glamorous, and I’m here to make that happen!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’ll admit it: I’m a homebody at heart I often enjoy weekly walks and cookouts with my family. One of the many places we frequent when walking is the BeltLine in Atlanta. It’s a vibrant hub with endless things to do. As someone who prefers to walk when I’m out and about, it’s the perfect place to soak in the city life. It has the added bonus of being a day or night activity and is it’s year round. Plus, it’s both family and pet-friendly—so everyone can join in on the fun! The trail leads right into the iconic historic Piedmont Park, covering 185 acres, where there’s always something exciting happening. It’s truly an all-in-one destination for food, entertainment, and great memories! Movie on the green anyone?

DelBar Middle Eastern in Inman Park, Atlanta, is a delicious escape from traditional Southern fare. It offers an unforgettable taste of Iranian cuisine that will truly delight your senses. From tender lamb to vibrant sauces and fresh vegetables, every dish is a celebration of flavor. You can experience a delightful range of tastes, from zesty citrus notes to rich, savory spices. Picture ginger-pickled cucumbers paired with prime beef sirloin marinated in saffron, onions, and yogurt—each bite is an experience that awakens the taste buds and leaves you craving more!

Fogo de Chão Atlanta GA is truly one of my favorite restaurants. It offers an amazing experience with its Brazilian fine roasted cuts of meat that just keep coming as long as your potion coaster is green! The variety is incredible—there’s a salad bar stocked with every side you could possibly imagine, from smoked salmon to fresh salads and delicious potatoes with soups to boot. Plus, the ambiance is so elegant, making it perfect for a special night out. It’s definitely a place that leaves a lasting impression!

Eclipso Atlanta offers an incredible VR experience, and I was interested in the ancient Egyptian immersion expedition called Horizon of Khufu. Let me tell you, the realism is mind-blowing, I half-expected to bump into people, but as long as you follow the guide’s instructions and the VR assistant’s prompts, you’re all set. The immersion is captivating; you feel transported to the time of the Pyramids of Giza, where you can explore different areas inside the pyramids learn some hieroglyphics and learn about the reign of the king Khufu. There are other options to try as well I’ll likely be visiting Paris in 1874 in the near future. It’s a must-try for any VR enthusiast!

“While summer in Hotlanta is a blast, l prefer the fall! There’s nothing quite like the crisp air, colorful leaves, and the delightful smell of burning oak, hickory, maple or cherry wood wafting through the streets. It’s like the South gets a warm blanket and a hot cup of cider, and suddenly everyone’s an outdoor enthusiast! Who can resist the charm of fall street markets and outdoor fun, all while debating whether to make a bonfire or just cozy up with a good book?”

And to my husband, who built me a cozy nail nook at home for my “office.” He’s my partner at business events and listens to every idea I have about my business. Honestly, I’m amazed he hasn’t hit the mute button after all these years!

To my thriving crew of 13—my kids, nieces, and nephews—thank you! You bring so much joy to the chaos, reminding me that sometimes the simplest solution is the best one. Hearing “TT Nani,” “Aunty Mommy,” or “Mom, you’re overthinking it!” always warms my heart. Your wisdom really keeps me grounded! 😀
