We had the good fortune of connecting with Gigi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi GIGI, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
Everyone is not my assignment!

What should our readers know about your business?
Inner G Movement was created to help individuals who have suffered from traumatic experiences and turn them into triumphs. This movement was designed to help individuals balance their mental, physical, spiritual, emotional, social, behavioral, cultural and financial health. We provide an assessment to see which area in one’s life requires immediate attention then we dissect each area to figure out the root cause for the blockage. We provide tools to learn how to unlearn old mindsets, habits and behaviors; in order to learn new ones that are beneficial.

It has been quite challenging to start a business based on your purpose and experience. I know this is my calling; however, I don’t know how to run a business. I have been learning from several coaches, leaders and mentors on how to properly run a business. At this point I am still learning and working with the people that are much more knowledgeable than I in those departments.

We have an online program that guides individuals on turning trauma to triumphs that was developed to teach individuals how to unleash the power they have within.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Atlanta is beautiful city and I would love to show off our lovely parks such as Stone Mountain, Yellow River Park, East Palisades Trail. We would definitely eat at Tassilli’s Raw Reality, Slutty Vegan, Soul Vegetarian, Planta, Cinnaholics, Pizzeria Verdura Sincera and so many more vegan restaurants. I would definitely take her to a state fair, the trap museum, a game, rum punch brunch, activate, top golf, andrettis.

Each day we would start off at a park for yoga and a walk with fruit & water for breakfast. Then we can have lunch at one of the vegan restaurants listed above. Walk around in the city, shop at Walters for sneakers. Then play games at Activate. Have dinner at Ponce City Market and enjoy the games on the roof top.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Help for the fractured soul is the book that helped me start my healing journey that has led me to become the person I am today.
