We had the good fortune of connecting with Connor Tomlinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Connor, what makes you happy? Why?
Reading makes me happy. It is very peaceful and it is exciting to go to other worlds and places.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I feel that I stood out from the crowd in terms of casting for Love on the Spectrum, because I am honest, loyal, intelligent, dare I say funny and I fancy myself quite a looker. I most excited about the possibility of finding love and also sharing my story with all of it’s challenges and triumphs with the world. My wish would be to let other individuals on the spectrum keep hope in their heart on their journey in finding love and friendship. Some of the lessons I learned along the way are dating and friendship can be challenging in terms of reading and understanding other peoples feelings and needs. I have also learned how work through new experiences which can often put me in a state of high anxiety. I have learned how to work through these situations and not give up! Mostly, I want the world to know that life can be difficult at times, however I have been fortunate enough to work through these moments with the love and support of my family. Family is everything!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to Zoo Atlanta and Georgia Aquarium. I would want to take them to La Parilla in Sandy Springs or Jinya Ramen Bar.
We would also visit Ponce City Market and eat in one of the wonderful restaurants there outside!
We would have to catch the CMX Bistro Halcyon movie theater!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shout out to my brother Jack who helped make my appearance on Love on the Spectrum possible with his initial tweet to the director Cian O’Clery. Jack has also been supportive and helpful on my journey.
