Hi ITZ, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success, and the success of my brand, is resilience. No matter the challenges or setbacks, I’ve always found a way to keep pushing forward. Whether it’s overcoming personal struggles or navigating the music industry, staying focused on my goals and never giving up has been key to getting where I am today.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is a reflection of my life. What sets me apart from others is my authenticity and raw storytelling. I don’t just make music; I tell my story, and it’s a story that many people can relate to. My music is highly influenced by my experience being incarcerated in Griffin Georgia .This was a pivotal moment in my life because I was facing 91 charges and falsely accused of being a member of the Gangster Disciples Gang.This along with the fact I spent most of my childhood and teen years couch, surfing due to my parents poor decision making and there unwillingness to raise me .
I’m most proud of how far I’ve come . I went from being removed from my mother’s custody,watching my father avoid me due to his unwillingness to pay child support , and dealing with mental and physical abuse to channeling my pain and hardship into my music. It wasn’t easy, but that’s what made my journey worthwhile.
Overcoming these challenges required perseverance and self-belief. There were times when I felt like giving up, but I kept reminding myself of my goals and why I started making music in the first place. I had to teach myself the business , learn from my mistakes, and grow from every experience, no matter how catastrophic it was.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that your circumstances does not define you—your determination does. I want the world to know that my music is more than just beats and lyrics; it’s my life’s story.
My brand is about resilience, authenticity, and the relentless pursuit of your dreams. If I can make it through everything I’ve faced, so can anyone else. My journey is proof that with hard work and determination, you can rise above anything.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting for a week, I’d want to make sure they experienced the best of what the area has to offer. Every day will be a new adventure we would go to all of the Clubs that had a good music or dance scene. and we would try out multiple restaurants.
Throughout the week, we’d make sure to connect with interesting locals—whether it’s artists, musicians, or just folks with great stories. The aim would be to balance exploring the city’s culture, food, and natural beauty with some laid-back, fun moments that create lasting memories.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my fans, who have supported me from day one and believed in my music even when things got tough. I also want to recognize the artists and lables I’ve worked with, like Amazon Godezz and Family Wealth Moguls, who have been instrumental in helping me grow as an artist. Finally, I want to give credit and glory to God—despite the hardships, challenges he pushed me to be stronger and more determined. Every experience, good or bad, God has shaped who I am today.
