We had the good fortune of connecting with Dadrien Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dadrien, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
‘Do it Scared” is one of my favorite affirmations. With entrepreneurship, really in life in general you’re never going to be all the way prepared or equipped to do those things that keep you up at night. You know the things that linger in your mind and those things that you receive daily confirmation about. Certain things are downloaded unto us and we think about them over and over until we produce an output. Do those things scared!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
In addition to being an entrepreneur, I am a master’s level Special Education Schol Social worker and a mother of two. What I am most excited about is that at work I get to help change lives and through my business, I provide experiences. Work-life balance is not easy, but I have learned to pivot. Where I am today professionally and in entrepreneurship wasn’t easy at all, it has probably been some of the hardest times I’ve had to face, but my stride to keep going has led me here. Not giving up and leaning on my support system has played a great role in overcoming the challenges that I have faced over the years. Along the way, I have learned that anything is possible with a plan and a prayer. What I want the world to know about my brand and my store is that it’s authentic and honest and that I’m figuring things out along the way, and in no way shape, or form do I have it all together, but I don’t give up and I work hard every day.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love to try new activities, foods, and places so some of the most fun and interesting things to check out are anything that I haven’t tried before

1. We would eat at Bar Louie, District 78, Sedona Taphouse,
2. We would experience perfume making, pottery,
3. We would visit a museum, art gallery, and of course shopping

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My children deserve a shoutout and recognition in my story. I am a mother of 2 and in addition to my strong work ethic, they are the driving force behind me. My children are 9 and 5 years old and have encouraged me in ways they couldn’t imagine. It’s not talked about how scary having children is and the thought of them getting older and wanting to make sure that they are ok when you aren’t around, that’s something I want to make sure that my children never have to worry about.
