Hi Jamaal, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
From a very young age, I always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to start my

own business. Observing that almost every successful person I knew owned their own
business, I aspired to follow in their footsteps. I was captivated by the freedom and self-reliance

entrepreneurship offered. The idea of being 100% in charge of my financial destiny, despite the

inherent risks, was a gamble I was ready to embrace. My passion for cars, a significant part of

my life since I was a teenager, naturally led me to start my company, ClearCoat Auto Detailing.

Two years later, ClearCoat has grown into a successful and respected business in the

community, and starting it was undoubtedly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The sense

of fulfillment and pride I’ve achieved from building and running my own business from the

ground up is unparalleled, and I am excited about the future possibilities as I continue to grow

and expand.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business, ClearCoat Auto Detailing, is a mobile detailing company specializing in high-end

luxury vehicles. What sets us apart from others is our unwavering commitment to quality; we
don’t settle for anything less than perfection. Our team meticulously attends to every detail,

every nook and cranny, ensuring that each vehicle we service is treated with the utmost care

and precision. Over the past two years, we have grown significantly, establishing a strong

reputation within the community for achieving excellence. However, our journey is far from over

as we look forward to expanding even more and reaching a wider clientele. The biggest

challenge we’ve faced is scaling our operations. We want to grow quickly while ensuring that our

high standards remain uncompromised. This involves careful planning and the development of

robust training programs to maintain consistency in our services. Throughout this journey, the

most important lesson I’ve learned is the value of exceeding expectations and always going the

extra mile. Exceptional customer service and satisfaction are crucial to our success, so we

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I wanted to show someone around, I’d definitely start at Bacchanalia, one of the best

restaurants in the area. Their food is exceptional, and the overall experience sets a perfect tone
for the day. After an amazing meal, we’d explore the city on foot because there’s so much to

see. Downtown is full of historic buildings, unique shops, and vibrant street art. We’d visit the

local park, a relaxing spot that often hosts festivals and events reflecting the local culture. The

waterfront offers stunning views and has plenty of charming cafés and lively pubs to stop by.

Exploring the various neighborhoods is always enjoyable, each with its own distinct character,

from cobblestone streets in the historic districts to artsy areas with galleries and music venues.

For those interested in history, we’d check out some local museums and historical sites to gain

insight into the city’s past. A walking tour is the best way to experience the city’s charm and

leave with lasting memories

the confidence to overcome challenges and strive for success, and her wisdom and guidance

have been invaluable throughout my journey.
