Hi Malikah, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The key factor behind my success is the commitment to leaving a legacy that inspires others to recognize their potential and strive for excellence. My brand continues to grow, consistently delivering excellence and exceptional entertainment for all.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
SEAMLESS originated in 2019 as a duo group featuring Zach Bridges and myself. In 2020, we added our saxophonist, Harold Christian, to form a trio. Then, in 2021, we expanded into a wonderful 10-piece full band. As a team, what sets us apart is that we are truly a family both on and off stage. We help shape each other into becoming better musicians and better people. I am most proud of having a band that is unafraid to challenge itself in both material and performance, standing on the shoulders of those who paved the way for our success.

Maintaining the passion, structure, and dedication required in this business is not easy without people who share your values. I am blessed to have such individuals in my band. Every day is a learning experience that helps us grow to the next level. Through this journey, I’ve learned the importance of patience, kindness, and listening to one another. We are a band that looks to God for answers and continues to embrace each other with love and appreciation.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love when friends and family visit me here in Virginia. I enjoy highlighting some of the most exciting places for a good time. Rivers Casino is always on the schedule, offering a world of entertainment, upscale restaurants, and slot machines. Other great destinations include Busch Gardens, Varia, the beach, and the Solver Library, to name a few.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to my team, SEAMLESS, for their hard work and dedication over the past five years. I also want to thank everyone who has been a part of the band, whether they are still with us or not.
