We had the good fortune of connecting with Billy Vetti and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Billy, how do you think about risk?
I feel that when it comes to taking risks, the best thing to do is to actually take the risk. Even if you fail, you learn from it. Failing isn’t garanteed if you take the risk, It’s only garanteed if you don’t try at all.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I always acquire the nostalgic elements in my art. The 80s, 90s and early 00s vibes is where I try to base my art. I am proud at the fact that I have the natural ability to be different and have the talent of being original. I got to where I am today professionally by always remembering where I could be if I didn’t pursue my goals and dreams. Lesson I have learned is that respect puts you on a marathon when it comes to success I always try my best to respect people and acknowledge their talents and goals, because all creatives lifting each other up makes it a better community. I want the world to know that my brand and story is one for the books and will be talked about decades after I’m gone.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to East Atlanta Village in Atlanta for some good food and dope live music. For a hangout I would go to Edgewood Pizza in the Westend because they have good food as well and is 4/20 friendly for those that know what that means lol.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
