Meet Nolen Tanner | Musician and TikToker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nolen Tanner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It was not an easy task taking on another instrument that I’ve never got my hands on before, but with strong dedication and perseverance, I took off with flying colors. My primary instrument is the Clarinet; self-taught for 5 years with it and still going strong. My spark for the clarinet started on Christmas Day on 2019 when my mother got one for me. At first, it was very difficult to play because I had no experience at all. Later on during the years, I excelled gradually with my skills I bestowed upon myself. After, I decided to put my skills to work on TikTok for the world to see. I would want to world to know that, “Anything and everything is possible, when you set your mind on the things you want to pursue in life.”

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my best friend out to Pop The Top Soda Shop, because it’s a fun place to hang out and to unwind after a long work day or just to catch up with one another. Myself, I would love to check out more music stores in case I want to expand my musical capabilities and to learn more about my instrument or others.

I would like to shoutout to God, my friends and family that helped me on this journey.
