We had the good fortune of connecting with Mi’esha Gabriella and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mi’esha, do you have a budget?
Yes, I most definitely have a budget. My husband and I have been using YNAB (You Need A Budget) app for at least the past 5 or 6 years. It has been a game changer for us to see exactly how our money is spent, it helps us set savings goals, and so much more. If it’s in the budget this month, we can do said activity or buy said thing (only after our priorities are paid for). If it’s not in the budget, we don’t do it or we make a plan to be able to do it at a later time.

Enjoy 34 free days with YNAB – https://www.ynab.com/our-free-34-day-trial?utm_source=customer_referral&utm_campaign=mobile_share

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the CEO of Spiritually Bold Enterprises and I am amazed at the journey I have been on since starting it back in 2018. What started out as a blog, has turned into a coaching business with a membership, and now a content creator/influencer business.

What Sets Me Apart
I am willing to try almost anything (within reason) and if it doesn’t work or I fail, I’ll move on to the next thing. I’ve tried out to be an Atlanta Falcons cheerleader, I’ve competed in pageants, I moved across the world for two years without having ever visited there, and the list goes on. Life is too short to live in fear and not be bold. I know that I have the full armor of God on me and before I do anything, I seek His guidance. If He gives me the GO, I’m going.

What I am Most Proud of
I have done a myriad of things in my life, but since this is focused on the business aspect of my life, I am most proud of hosting a sold out brunch experience back in September 2022. The purpose of this event was to encourage women to go after all that God has for them despite living in a society that has created a facade that success happens overnight and if you don’t have X amount of followers or influence, you won’t have success. I had no consistent business revenue, but I had hope and trusted that God would make it do what it do to bring it together. I was able to get sponsorships, a local floral shop donated boutonnieres for all the guests, and people are still talking about how impactful and transformational that event was to this day. J Cole said he had a dollar and a dream, but I had an assignment and God.

What I am Most Excited About
I am most excited about connecting with more women all over the world through my social media and brand partnerships to authentically show them that they can do it all, just not all at once, in order to live their best bold, purposeful life. They can be boss women in the workforce, wonderful wives (if they desire), wonderful mother, friend, sister, and all of the above. But mostly they can be a BOSS them and should be that each and everyday no matter what life may throw their way.

How Did I Get to Where I Am Today in Business
I initially started as a blogger in 2018 to share my story of how I found my biological father at the age of 26. On that blog I also shared tips to help women on their faith journey as well as encouragement and mental health tips. I transitioned to being a faith and mental health coach because I was enjoyng the community I was building online and wanted to connect with them on a deeper level. Because of this, I created a membership where I offered bi-monthly coaching calls centered around faith and mental health topics to help women better prioritize their faith, mental health, and themselves. In 2023, my husband and I were going through a huge life transition and I paused all business things because it was overwhelming with the life transition and working as a mental health professional in a high needs environment. However, I still felt the urge to encourage and help women in some way, I just knew I didn’t have the capacity to do it how I was doing it previously. I spent a lot of time praying and journaling asking God to show me what He had me to do and He confirmed it through influencer/content creation. With this, I am still able to encourage women but I am able to do it in many ways that is better for the capacity I have and it will allow me to work with brands through partnerships and events.

Lessons I’ve Learned:
– Don’t be too concerned with making money immediately when you launch. Pay more attention to the impact you have and the community you’ve built, the money will come
– You don’t have to do everything all at once because you will quickly get burned out
– Social media is ever changing and it can be overwhelming but remain consistent in what you put out there
– Don’t overthink everything because that hinders your growth
– Trust the Process
_ Seek God in all that you do

What I Want the World to Know
I want the world to know that I am your ordinary girl with extraordinary talents and gifts. I truly believe God created me to do many things to show people Him through me whether that be encouraging women to put their faith, their wellness, and themselves first. Sharing ways to do all the things but not all at once in easy, digestible steps. Sharing the authentic side of being a wife, mental health professional, friend, influencer, and everything in between – showing the human side of business. I want the world to know that even though trials and tribulations may come your way, there is still greatness inside of you and you have a story to share. You never know how impactful your story may be to others, so it’s important that I continuously share my story to help them (that doesn’t mean telling all my business, but just enough so they get understand where I was, where I am now, and where God is taking me).

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
You’re talking to Mrs. Planning Extraordinaire herself lol.

I have a three best friends and they are all different in their likes but we would venture to:

– A few outdoor places to hike and enjoy nature at Rosell Mills to see the beautiful waterfall, Piedmont Park for a nice picnic and chit chat, and Stone Mountain Park

_ I love to eat (and they do too) so we would definitely hit up Atlanta Breakfast Club, Just Brunch, and 9 Mile Station at Ponce City Market

– We would have a few nights in at my house to binge watch our favorite shows/movies, have a spa night, and just vibe

– Our last night of fun would definitely be at Mics Karaoke or Impulse Lounge for karaoke and I’d probably have the mic all night singing all genres of songs

– We would end it all at church Sunday morning

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, I am nothing without God. He is the reason I have breath in my body each and everyday so let’s start there. Secondly, I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my husband – thanks for always supporting me in all that I do (or want to try)
