Meet Lucius Williams | Content Creator/Videographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lucius Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lucius, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is God. God has brought me so far over the last 5 years with chasing my dreams, getting better with my craft, and moving to another state to expand my vision!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a Lifestyle Content Creator from Wetumpka, Alabama. I originally started off as a Photographer/Videographer who just had passion for creating visually. The thought of becoming a Photographer/Videographer came about in the fall of 2017 while working at a warehouse. I was working at the warehouse to pay off my debt that I owed my recent college, so that I could go back to the school to finish getting my degree. Along the way of working there I got lost mentally and started losing hope for life because of the environment that I was in. One day while working, the thought of picking up a camera came across my mind. Instead of questioning the thought, I went home that evening and ordered a Photography book off of Amazon. Once the book arrived, I would go to my car everyday on my lunch break and read about 10 pages to learn about the functions of a camera. After finishing the book a month later, I ended up leaving the warehouse because I paid off my debt to my recent college, which resulted in me getting my transcripts from them to apply for the new college that I wanted to attend. The college accepted me for the winter semester of 2018 for Graphic Design! After a month of attending school again, I purchased my first ever camera which was a Canon EOS Rebel t6i. Everyday after school, I would practice taking pictures and filming videos to get better with my craft. Within the time span of me attending school, I got better with taking pictures and filming and I started making money with my camera. I did this until I finished in the winter of 2020. I got my Associates Degree in Graphic Design and the rest was history! The journey has definitely not been easy and has had its ups & downs along the way. I overcame these obstacles by simply keeping God 1st and knowing that he has a plan for me. Over the course of years that I’ve been filming, I’ve learned a lot of important lessons about handling business and networking. At the end of 2023, I switched over to creating Lifestyle & Motivational Content because I felt like my purpose was bigger than me just filming for others. I’ve always had a passion for motivating others because I love to see other people become successful and win!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to them to an Atlanta Hawks Basketball & Atlanta Braves Baseball game. I love sports and experiencing high energy atmospheres with others. Some favorite food places that I would take them to would be Sea Salt, Harolds Chicken & Ice Bar, J. Alexanders, J. Buffalos Wings & Bar, La Chingada Sports Bar, Breakfast at Barneys, JJ Fish & Chicken. If we’re taking about fun, we would go to Round 1, Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, I Luv Bowling, Top Golf, Beat the Bomb etc!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a special thanks to my Mother, Girlfriend, Family, & Friends for the unlimited support and love that they’ve given me over the last few years. They definitely play a HUGE role in my Success!
