Hi Cristina / Laura, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Laura and I purchased our gym because we wanted to create a community of support for people who want to better themselves. These days it’s hard to find a support system. Everyone is on competition with each other and always out for themselves. Burn is all about inspiring, transforming, and empowering others and that falls in line with our vision. We truly love serving people and helping them not only transform physically but mentally. We knew if we owned our own location we would be able to have more control over that happened inside the gym.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Burn Boot Camp Suwanee is unlike no other in many ways. Not only do we have an amazing gym and killer workout but we have the BEST Community! Burn Suwanee’s mission is people first and we truly mean that. We will always be behind our members and staff cheering them on to be 1% better each day and we really mean that. Burn Nation is a family and Suwanee embodies that and loves on our people and community. Burn Suwanee support several sports teams within the community and even does volunteer work with the City of Suwanee. We are more than a gym!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There are so many places in Atlanta to go. For dinner we would definitely have to check out Frankie’s Steakhouse and Ted’s Grill. Those are 2 of my favorites. For shopping Phipps Plaza would it! Hangout we definitely have to head north to the mountains and wineries. I love they are close to the city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our success was possible first and foremost because of Devin and Morgan Kline. They started Burn 13 years ago and without their vision our gym wouldn’t be possible. Also without the support of our husbands this wouldn’t have been able to happen. Most of all we are so thankful for our Members for trusting us and supporting us in our mission to truly touch the Suwanee Community. They believed in us and let us take this leap of faith and it truly has been a blessing!
