We had the good fortune of connecting with Robin Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Robin, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
The most difficult decision I ever had to make was to retire from my job after ten years and take a leap of faith and to take my talents to the next level.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My story is simple. Here at Embroidery Muse LLC., we go beyond the realm of traditional embroidery to create exquisite works of art. Our passion lies in meticulously crafting many custom products, ranging from custom door hangers, personalized T-shirts to custom engravings on woodwork. While Custom Printing remains our flagship offering along with many other products. I’ve taken many different paths in my life, my latest path was a huge one. After 10.5 years with GCPS, I retired. On October 2023 I said sayonara to Gwinnett County Public Schools to pursue my dream with my husbands blessings.
I’m was so proud to introduce my newest Business venture, The Embroidery Muse LLC established in January, 2024. With over five years of experience in the industry, I have honed my skills in the art of handiwork, fueled by boundless imagination. I pour my heart and soul into every creation as I’m constantly expanding my repertoire to bring even more captivating products.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I really wish I could answer this question but I can’t because I don’t go out. I’m a workaholic. I don’t even do nothing for fun. Every now and then my husband and I will travel. The reason I mention my husband because he is my best friend.

What I consider fun, nobody else will consider fun. My husband and I love to go Thrifting. Thrifting put us in a place of relaxation and tranquility.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out my husband for having my back and being in my biggest hype man/supporter. He works very hard on getting me sales.. He’s always promoting my business no matter where we go. When he’s at work, he’s promoting me, when he go to the grocery store, He’s promoting me. Without him I wouldn’t have positive energy and drive to do what I do.
