We had the good fortune of connecting with LaKeacha Jett and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LaKeacha, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
Growing up in Baltimore, Maryland, and attending Baltimore City Schools, including graduating from Western High School, deeply influenced who I am today. Baltimore’s vibrant communities and diverse neighborhoods provided me with a unique perspective on life from an early age.

Being raised in a holiness church with a strict background instilled in me a strong set of values and principles rooted in faith and discipline. The teachings of the church emphasized compassion, empathy, and the importance of helping others, shaping my character and actions.

My upbringing in Baltimore, coupled with the values instilled by my holiness church, has shaped me into a person who is deeply committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others. I believe in the importance of community, resilience, and service, and strive to embody these principles in everything I do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For a week-long trip showing my best friend the best time in the area, we’d start with a hearty breakfast at The Breakfast Boys, followed by a relaxing spa day at Platinum Spa in Conyers. In the afternoon, we’d head to The Dirty Tea for unique and delicious beverages.

The next day, we’d explore Hanna Brothers Studio Cafe in Fayetteville for lunch and perhaps catch a glimpse of some movie magic. In the evening, we’d hit up Karaoke Mics for a fun night of singing and entertainment.

As the week progresses, we’d venture into Atlanta’s nightlife scene, visiting some of the hottest nightclubs in the city. We’d also explore various restaurants and bars known for their vibrant atmosphere and delicious cuisine.

Throughout the week, we’d soak in the diverse culture and entertainment options Atlanta has to offer, from live music venues to art galleries and scenic parks. It would be a week filled with unforgettable experiences and cherished memories, showcasing the best of the area’s food, drinks, and entertainment.
