Hi Marcus, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success has been a passion for versatility within my creativity. My strong foundation as a traditional fine artist led to my ability to create innovative web designs and animations that stand out in a crowded digital space.

The diversity of design styles, techniques, and mediums I showcase as a traditional artist, are paralleled within my company’s interactive websites, graphic design, and video/animation services.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Sharper FX creates Responsive Web Designs, Graphic Design projects, and awe-inspiring Video and Motion Graphic animations. Our unwavering dedication to creativity and precision has led to astonishing results. Countless organizations have elevated their brand presence and celebrated their uniqueness through our artistic endeavors.

Our portfolio reflects a wide array of high-quality projects, demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and a profound understanding of design principles. We invest time in comprehending each client’s vision and target audience to create solutions that match the clients branding goals. We prioritize creativity and innovation, pushing creative boundaries to offer fresh, distinctive, and impactful designs. We value long-term relationships with our clients and provide ongoing post-project support and maintenance.

After Graduating with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Florida A&M University and a Master of Computer Arts from Savannah College of Arts & Design, continuing my education in the everchanging world of technology has proved beneficial. I have personally focused on learning through a platform I (and may others) call “YouTube University”. It has provided a cost effective resource for learning, tutorials, and training.

My brand’s success has been directly connected to my ultimate mission, which is offering boundless possibilities to my clients which elevate their organization to new heights. I enjoy leaving a lasting legacy in the hearts and minds of our clients and their consumers.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There is so much to do in Atlanta! As a lover of the Arts, I would take a relaxing day to walk or ride scooters through the Atlanta Belt Line while being inspired by the beautiful murals and sculptures. The variety of surrounding restaurants and activities will make this an area to continue visiting.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I first want to give thanks to GOD for answering my prayers at the age of 5 to become an Artist and Creative. I was introduced and intrigued by my Uncle Jimmy’s amazing drawing talent. I thought it was like “Magic” and wanted the gift “to make everyone happy!”

I would like to acknowledge New Birth Missionary Baptist Church as being one of my first clients over 24 years ago. They played a pivotal role in launching my web design business through their embrace of innovative and trailblazing marketing strategies which utilized my animation and design services. Their invaluable exposure to other ministries and businesses set a foundation for my career that has led to numerous successes and many “Happy” clients.

Last but but not least, I want to “Shoutout” my wife and kids. As a husband and father of 5 kids, the PROUDEST accomplishment to date was realizing that my internet based business structure allowed me to gracefully pivot during Covid-19 and fully enjoy my family while my wife continued to homeschool our children, and create new experiences.
