We had the good fortune of connecting with Keenan Black jr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keenan, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I realized that by starting my own business, I could have control over my own destiny and create a life where I could wake up every day and do what truly makes me happy. It was a way for me to turn my dreams into reality and live life on my own terms.

What should our readers know about your business?
I got to where I am by staying consistent and pushing forward no matter how hard it got sometimes I believed in myself and remembered why I started is what kept me going I learned to always do what you say your going to do and you can do whatever you want if believe you put the work in.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to try local food spot such as tropical Caribbean cafe, mamas Cocina jj fish and chicken and try food trucks at Bonfire Atl take paintballing and to Takeoff Atl to meet local artist.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Alexis Me’Chell for always believing in me and be with me along my journey.
