We had the good fortune of connecting with Dylan Marie and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dylan, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Imagine being told by doctors your child may not be able to walk, talk or comprehend. Imagine him or her being written off at only hours old. Dylan was born at only 31 weeks’ gestation. She was born with Amniotic Band Syndrome; Moebius Syndrome and her tongue was also attached to her palate. She was later diagnosed with autism and she’s partially deaf in her right ear. Now imagine That same child excelling in everything she puts her hands on in her mind too. Throughout life she was always taught to be most AUTHENTIC self. This caused Dylan to soar in ways no one ever expected. She has received numerous awards that include her bronze award for Girl Scouts, a blue belt in Hapkido, FFA member, and countless other academic awards! She built Dylan Marie‘s Paintings and Illustrations, LLC on the very foundation doctors’ thought would break her, her differences. Our differences at Dylan Marie’s Paintings & Illustrations, LLC, are our strengths.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Dylan Marie’s Paintings and Illustrations specializes in custom artwork for your home or office.You can expect beautiful canvas pour paintings, in bright vibrant colors. Dylan is a young talented autistic artist that is ready to show you the world from her perspective. Light, love, and rainbows is the best way to describe this young lady’s take on life. She doesn’t let anything stand in her way. Here at Dylan Marie’s Paintings and Illustrations our differences are our strengths. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would visit Le Gabrielle Crepes & Waffles in Winder, GA. They have an amazing brunch menu. We would go to the Disney store at the Mall of GA and shopping. We would also see all of the new movies at the theater.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The initial capital came from sweet 16th birthday money. My mom registered my business and applied for my LLC. My parents and grand mother purchased the first set of canvases, paint, and brushes. My mom & dad opened the business bank account with a $200 deposit. After selling out every FB live show from August December of 2020, we were able to launch our website. We are very happy to say Dylan Marie’s Paintings & Illustrations, LLC has been sustaining itself for 3yrs. The support of family and friend gave me my start. I would like to thank them all.
