We had the good fortune of connecting with Toni Sanabria and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Toni, how do you think about risk?
Robert G. Allen is known for saying, “Everything you want is just outside your comfort zone.” Putting it in another way, everything you want requires some level of risk. Taking risks can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life, but it’s also one of the hardest to do as well. I am a firm believer in taking risk in order to reach unique goals life. For me, taking risks has played a very beneficial roll in my career by opening doors for me, networking with the right people and exposing my brand as well.
What should our readers know about your business?
Becoming an entrepreneur can be extremely challenging and hectic without the proper guidance, especially at the young age of 16. Unfortunately I did not have the privilege of learning from someone else, Everything I know today I’ve single handedly educated myself on. RosePeau LLC did not start off as a business idea but more of a hobby that blossomed into an obsession. Being able to enhance the natural features of others has been extremely rewarding, After three years of hand making each product from my line I decided to take the risk of going to esthetician school furthering my education in the skin care industry with the soon to be made goal of becoming a salon/spa owner. RosePeau is more than a just a skin care line but as well as an advocate for self care and mental health, I’ve traveled to different locations around the states to host multiple classes while also exposing my brand as a form a self care, which it is. My business journey was extremely long but unique and rewarding as well. Of course everyone loves to embrace their accomplishments but I base my success off of embracing my failures which has molded me into the person I’ve become.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Every time my best friend visits the city of atlanta the first thing she wants to eat is wings! Specifically from JJ’s fish and chicken. After doing so we would unwind before a night out in the city, bar/restaurant hopping. We both personally enjoy brunching in atlanta and some of my favorite places are “Toast on Lenox” and “5 Church” specifically the bulkhead area.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate a shoutout to my mother Regina Sanabria , She’s proved to me multiple times that being an independent woman can be be extremely rewarding and eye-opening. My mother has supported me throughout my entire life regardless of how indecisive I can be sometimes; through switching states, schools, career paths and more she’s always been by my side and encouraged me to be the best version of myself!
