We had the good fortune of connecting with Aisha Danzy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Aisha, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is the foundation of my faith in God and my deep commitment to my family and life goals.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As the child of Jamaican immigrants and a teenage mom, I learned to use my experiences to create flourishing businesses that help others. I am blessed and proud to own one of the fastest-growing independent black-owned insurance companies in Atlanta, the first female black-owned formal gown store on Peachtree Street, a call-center and a community of AirBNB properties in Jamaica. Having my daughter, Ariana, at just 17 years old has been the greatest influence on my life. I learned to remain focused and resilient in difficult situations. I hope others see my life as a true testament to living life to the fullest. I want my life and my brand to be a constant reminder to think and dream big, redefine success by your willingness to give back and contribute to this world, not just monetarily, but by showing up for others in need.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shoutout to my Jamaican immigrant parents, siblings, my two beautiful children Ariana and Aiden, and my dearest childhood friends for all of their love and unwavering support.
