We had the good fortune of connecting with Terran Eaton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Terran, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
Acting is amazing and an investment and a liberating thrill. I have been acting since I was nine, venturing here recently after these past two years into film. I love it. But I think the best thing about this industry is learning. Becoming better is the most satisfying gift. More than pay more than praise is getting more skills and acquiring more abilities to embody a role. Having an arsenal of acting abilities literally creates more opportunities. In short more acting skills more deals.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I begun acting at 9 years old. It was for my former church and all I had to do was scream. My cousins were acting and I like the idea. However when I was thirteen I began to love it. Doing theatre in middle school and being mesmerized with the process. I kept acting doing theatre. This led me to highs and lows of life. Graduated high school but became homeless and knew I needed to find a way out. In that moment and season of life I made a conscious choice to only do what I love. From then on I have been acting.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Shout out to Metros diner. I ate there after working on a movie called “And They Named Her Love” will be out soon. I enjoyed the pancakes and the breakfast there it’s on peach tree.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Hey, I’m Terran Eaton, an actor looking to expand from plays to films and television. In the indie film market I’m excited about projects coming up like “Beware of Paul Pry” on Tubi, “Chaos and Chuckles”, “The Midnight Butcher”, and “Future Plans 2” admittedly some of those are already out but I’m excited for more as well. But more than anything I’m excited to grow as an actor to work with Tyler Perry some day. I also hope to acquire more lessons from the amazing Lelund Durond known for his acting coaching and photography. Ultimately I’m excited for the journey and I thank God. These are dreams my Father, God rest his soul, had for me before he past and I pray Jesus allows me to fulfill them and more.
