We had the good fortune of connecting with Kiss Me Saint Cloud and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kiss Me, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Most importantly, we try to reach a larger audience and community every day. Finding connections and making a name for ourselves is crucial.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We offer eccentric, high energy live shows that send the crowd into a frenzy. We look forward to playing more shows and growing an audience to share our music with. As an independent band we got to where we are by reaching out and trying to make a name for ourselves. Without a professionally backed budget we’ve found a challenge in trying to reach the same success as others without cutting corners or skipping steps. Overcoming this hurdle means we must spend our money wisely, find the right connections, and create our own opportunities that may help not only us, but other local artists grow, because we know nothing in this industry or in the world can be accomplished without the help and support of those around you. Kiss Me Saint Cloud is resilient and unrelenting in our journey towards growth.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta is full of culture and life like few other places around. If you’re interested in experiencing the life that explodes in Atlanta then I think a great place to start would be almost anywhere on the beltline. If you choose a restaurant to spend your morning at you can observe all sorts of people transversing the pathway that dissects our large city. From skaters and bike riders, to people on their way to play a pick-up game with their friends, to people celebrating great occasions or their own success, to the neighbors who live off the beltline getting their morning exercise in. There’s endless opportunity off only this one paved path. The beltline also serves as a connection to many Atlanta neighborhoods , communities, and attractions. But the best way, hands down, to experience a bustling city like Atlanta is to ask the locals their favorite spots and wander off the paved path.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Kiss Me Saint Cloud draws inspiration from a wide variety of artists but our main influence comes from bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Soundgarden. We can certainly begin by thanking the people and other local artists who have shared shows with us. Our biggest driving support most definitely comes from the people in our past who have told us not to pursue such a slim-chanced career. The music teachers in school who told us not to follow or passion of playing music and the folks who turn us down.
