Meet C Key | Beauty Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with C Key and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi C, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
I AM my brand and my brand is my business! By authentically being me and representing beauty in a positive way it has impacted my community and the world.

Being my authentic self has been infectious and has injected confidence, empowerment, and the power for others to be their beautifully unique self!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Not only am I a Beauty Influencer, but I am a WINFluencer ! What does that mean? That means I want everyone to WIN in whatever they put their hands to!

The most exciting thing about this whole journey is that I get to learn and grow and help others do the same in beauty and business.

It was definitely not easy making a name for myself in the beauty industry within the last 11 years.  it took discipline, consistency, and tough skin. However, the rewards of seeing the impact on others is well worth it.

I have overcome many challenges by exercising my faith in God and knowing that He created me for greatness and that if I AM still here I have a purpose!

I want people to know that no matter their past, no matter what they have gone through, do NOT let that dictate your future and do NOT be afraid to DREAM!

I was raped at 14, was on my own at 17, and had a child 4 days after I turned 20; I could have become a statistic, but GREATER was in me and I tapped into it!!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Hmmmm first and foremost I am a foodie so we would hit up all types of restaurants (soul food, sea food, Indian food etc.) during this week long trip lol

Then, we must do some beauty and fashion shopping at Sephora, Ulta, Zara, and Forever 21 just to name a few. We would hit up a beach and a few amusement parks, and we would DEFINITELY be recording content (“gotta” have memories)

After all that we will need a couple of days to recuperate lol

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to recognize my Church family Canaan Inheritance Worship Center! It is always good to have a support system and my church has been that spiritually as well as physically.
